On the 30th of June, over 250 bloggers and guests came together to Nuffnang Blogopolis 2012 Sydney to learn from each other, strengthen existing friendships and make new connections. It was an overwhelmingly successful event with @nuffnangau and our official hashtag #NNB2012 trending in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. It topped the trends chart in Twitter for the whole day (even more than the TomKat split!).
As a result of our survey on topics bloggers wanted from our conferences, we’ve adopted a slightly different approach this year and the day was split into ten different classes with break out sessions in between morning tea and lunch. The speakers we’ve invited were some of the leaders in their field and they proved to be a hit!
Class 3: SEO & Analytics For Dummies with Jeff Tan from Initiative
Class 8: Finding Your Own Voice & Staying Relevant with Penny Cai from Jeroxie, Eden Riley from Edenland, Zoey Martin from Good Googs and Phoebe Montague from Lady Melbourne. This panel was also moderated by the lovely Kim Berry from All Consuming.
Class 9: Utilising Different Platforms to Optimise Your Blog & Traffic with Christina Butcher from Hair Romance on Pinterest, Caz Makepeace from yTravelBlog on Podcasts and Janice Wong from Chaigyaru on Youtube.
We will be sharing all the presentations, Blogopolis wrap up posts and photos over the coming days so look out for them!
