Luscious cocktails, delicious desserts, a stunning beach sunset and the iconic Stokehouse restaurant in St Kilda set the scene for last Thursday’s inaugural Nuffnang Foodathon event. One after the other magnificent cocktails provided by Schweppes came out to a delighted audience, accompanied by mouth watering, matched desserts – see menu below:
Miyagi Kyo – Poached pear, honey ginger biscuit & marscapone
Creole Crush – Watermelon sorbet
Elixer Honey Gin – Hazelnut Chocolate icecream, strawberry sorbet, honeycomb
The Golden Grape – Passionfruit mousse, brandy snap
Blood Orange Cosmo – lemon ricotta cake, lemon curd
Mojito – Mango, rum & chilli, mint sorbet, coconut wafer

It was a fantastic night full of chatting, eating and drinking and was enjoyed by all. Those who attended would agree that they were treated to culinary brilliance and delicious cocktail mixing. It was also great to have our excited contest winner Lisa Wood in attendence. Lisa wrote a fantastic post about her favourite Schweppes cocktail, and won a trip to Melbourne to attend the event! A big thank you goes to everyone who entered the contests. Be sure to keep your eye out for more contests like this in the very near future.
