That is a freaking awesome prize… I’m going to be stalking these blogs!

  2. CraftyMummy :

Saw the giveaway and review over at Retro Mummy – lucky girl!
After reading the the info and reviews, it sounds like the Lumix G2 would take almost no effort on my part to make me a better photographer – all those functions make it sound fabulous and super easy to use!

  3. Simon Food Favourites :

Where in the world would you take the Panasonic Lumix TZ10 and what photo would you take? oh wow. a 12 optical zoom on such a compact camera. i’d definitely be taking on my trip to the US and visiting the Grand Canyon and taking lots of amazing shots of the scenery with the wide angle plus when i’m in Hawaii i’ll be able to zoom out to the surfers on the big waves and get some great shots of them too :-) i really need an upgrade and this would fit the bill so well!

  4. Cass Ward :

The Panasonic Lumix G2 would make me a better photographer because I would love to have the option of manual adjustments but I know that the intuative operation would come in so handy for me especially when shooting my children.

Panasonic Lumix G2: How will the Panasonic Lumix G2 make you a better photographer?

I always wanted a DSLR which can take better and clearer pictures than normal compact cameras..But because of the size and price, i can never get one until panasonic released their Lumix G2 which is a smaller version of DSLR. I am a person who loves taking pictures but never get the chance to because i don’t have a good camera on me, so relying on the camera that comes in my mobile is just not good..I don’t take convincing pictures with my mobile camera nor my compact camera, I always wanted to learn how to take good pictures just like other blogger. I believe by using the Panasonic Lumix G2 i can definitely learn how to take good pictures and will make a good use out of it. I will definitely love the Panasonice Lumix G2 camera!:)

  7. Ellie :

    1) Clearly, it will make me a photographer at all! iPhones are known for their um, less than good capacity to snap a perfect shot, and I never got around to buying a digital, so I just… don’t take photos. Ever. I know, it’s disgraceful.

  8. x Corrine/Frock & Roll x :

A.m.a.z.i.n.g! This camera sounds incredible, I would love to use one!

  9. Teer Wayde :

How will the Panasonic Lumix G2 make you a better photographer?

The one thing I need to blog more efficiently is a great camera. I have so many items, products and outfits to review and have to save them for photo shoots which currently take so long.

If i had the Panasonic Lumix G2 I would be able to capture all the things i need to blog more often, do more reviews and create stunning images. I would also be able to create videos which I’ve always wanted to feature.

I’ve even written to my readers recently and had to apologize for the blurry low quality image I’ve had to upload – this would rock my world.

With its fantastic features i will have no problem taking crip and stunning shots.

  10. Teer Wayde :

crips shots – sorry for the typos!

  11. Natalie :

This is a wonderful prize, and I’m actually going to be looking for a new camera in the next few months too!

I’d love to win the Lumix G2, because I’ve wanted to step up into a DSLR type camera for a while worry about how complicated it’ll be. The ability to attach different lenses and filters will be incredible to experiment with, because I’m currently very limited by my point and shoot digital camera and my iPhone. The touchscreen will be really cool too, I’d love to see how it works with the autofocus and exposure levels while shooting photos on the fly.

I’m really excited, it’d be awesome to be able to take high quality rad photos for my blog!

  12. Natalie :

Panasonic Lumix G2: How will the Panasonic Lumix G2 make you a better photographer??

Being the budding photographer I am, my eyes are always open to capture ‘the perfect photograph’. Alas, my current camera (which is actually my boyfriend) often lets me down! While, not confident enough to go out and spend a couple of grand on a SLR, I think this camera is a step in the right direction to perfection! The automatic focus sounds like heaven!

  13. Elise @ Stuff That I Bought :

How will the Panasonic Lumix G2 make you a better photographer?
My biggest problem is trying to take photos of nail polishes and cosmetics that accurately reflect the colour while also looking nice. Do you have any idea how hard it is to take a good photo of a pink nail polish on my nails – it always ends up looking orange or red! A decent camera would make the world of difference to my blogging (and my facebook photos, let’s be honest!)

  14. Maria :

I’d take the Lumix TZ10 with me to the Arctic Circle (where I’m going at the end of this year) and take photos of the Northern Lights!

  15. Leanne :

The Panasonic Lumix G2 would make me a better photographer because I can just point and shoot and know they will be great looking photos!

  16. Christine :

After reading the comments in Corrie (retro mummy) reviews I think the Panasonic Lumix G2 would the best camera for me it would make taking photos so easy and effortless, with all the functions it has to offer.

  17. Sara @ Belly Rumbles :

Panasonic Lumix G2: How will the Panasonic Lumix G2 make you a better photographer?

At the moment I use a point and shoot or as I like to call it a POS. I am not camera savy and to be honest a DSLR scares me a little. The Lumix G2 seems like my perfect solution for my blog Belly Rumbles. It sounds so simple to use and would give beautiful photos for my readers to view. I love the fact that it also shoots HD movies, what a bonus!

I had a look at the You Tube ad on Retro Mummy’s blog, and well I am that guy, or at least would like to be, but in female form of course.

  18. Fern :

Panasonic Lumix G2: How will the Panasonic Lumix G2 make you a better photographer?

In my dream world it would shoot lasers from the flash that would cause time to momentarily freeze so that I can step out from behind the camera, open one child’s squinty eyes and push the other boy’s tongue back into his mouth, and probably turn my husband’s frown upside down. Failing that it’s super fast shutter speeds would allow me to capture the moment where everyone is looking vaguely in my direction ;)

  19. Gumji :

    Panasonic Lumix TZ10

    Panasonic Lumix TZ10

It’d be amazing to take it for my trip this summer! I’m going to Thailand this summer and with its GPS system, it will be sooooo easy to organise all my photos I take in Thailand – and so many pretty photos to take with such awesome camera!
    Can’t wait ♥

  21. Brismod :

Panasonic Lumix G2: How will the Panasonic Lumix G2 make you a better photographer?

Well, how could it not? About 98% of the photographs on my blog are my own, but my camera is a pretty basic point and shoot. Very limiting. The fact the Lumix G2 is training wheels to the real deal is a big selling point. A decent camera is a good motivator to learn how to capture great images!

  22. Jessie :

Seriously, EITHER of those cameras would improve my photography! I’m desperate to capture my little man’s first year on film…

  23. Rachel [@RachelChunky] :

How will the Panasonic Lumix G2 make you a better photographer?

A DSLR camera is pretty intimidating – not to mention expensive – for a photography novice, and I feel like I’ve outgrown my faithful point’n’shoot after nearly 3 years! The Lumix G2 would be a pretty good entry point into a world of better photography, because then maybe I’ll be able to keep up with my avid wannabe-pro photographer sister!

  24. Samantha :

Q: How would the Lumix G2 make you a better photographer?

A: A skilled musician is only as good as the quality of his/her instrument and this is certainly the same for photographers.

My photographic potential is limited and bounded by the capability of my current humble point and shoot but with Lumix G2, it is about to be unleashed.

  25. Melissa :

How would the Lumix G2 make you a better photographer.

I can indulge all my fantasies about being a whimsical and curious foreign traveller armed with an impressive camera. They always appear so full of hope and inspiration. I can live out that fantasy right here in my own city without even having to board a plane! All I need is the camera in hand, a mind at the ready and a heart ready to engage. Living in the moment is difficult when you are so busy, but being given the opportunity to stop and think about the here and now is even more rewarding when the technology you are using feels pleasurable to the touch. The tools the Lumix G2 gives you provides you the opportunity to capture an imagined vision that really is magical.

  26. Corinne :

I would take the Panasonic Lumix TZ10 to France and take a photo of my family eating, drinking and enjoying life.

  27. Vicky :

Q: How would the Lumix G2 make you a better photographer?

Just started my blog a few months ago and realised how important good photos are to a blog. I think I’ve outgrown my point and shoot and it’s time to upgrade, hoping to take better photos. This is where the G2 comes in, it sounds so easy to use, just like a point and shoot but with better picture quality, like a SLR. Plus the fact that it’s still compact and I can take it everywhere so I will never miss a shot. As they say practice makes perfect.

  28. Cedric :

The secret to taking better photographs is to always have a camera with you and shoot, shoot, shoot. So how will the Panasonic Lumix G2 make me a better photographer? The Panasonic Lumix G2 is not only small enough to take everywhere with me but it has all the functionality to help me grow into a competent photographer.

  29. Libby :

How would the Lumix G2 make you a better photographer?

Surely the question should be how could the Lumix G2 not make me a better photographer?

  30. Jessica :

The Panasonic Lumix G2 would make me a better photographer because I’ve only recently just learned how to work a fully manual SLR this year, and I think that it would be great to develop my skills with as the camera can be used manually. I also think it’d be great for me so I can easily take quick and beautiful snapshots if I don’t have the time to make all the manual adjustments. :)

  31. Running Thread :

When it comes to photographs I point and shoot. And I’ve pretty much mastered that now, thank you. It’s time to do something more with my pics … The Lumix G2 would help me take the next step – as I photograph the family or snap some macro shots of my latest crafty creation.

  32. Willson :

    The Lumix DMC-TZ10:

I would take the Panasonic Lumix TZ10 with me everywhere I go. It’s so compact that I can keep it in my pocket pretty much all the time and be ready to take shots when they present themselves, be it candid shots of friends and family or some random panorama shots, or even a HD video of my baby doing silly things. It will go with me to places where my DSLR can’t come along, and it has zoom range that even my SLR lens can’t match. We have a family holiday coming up end of this year to Macau, Malaysia and Singapore and I can see the TZ10 coming along and being used to take a nice family portrait of the three of us during the trip already.

  33. demie :

Q: Where in the world would you take the Panasonic Lumix TZ10 and what photo would you take?

A: Italy, when i send my sister there for her exchange program hopefully in the beginning of next year. i’ve been always wanting a new camera, my measly compact camera of 8 megapixels and 5x optical zoom does me no good when most of my pictures end up getting blurred when it’s more than 2X zoomed in or when i take it with shaky hands (which i do most times). this would help me heaps because my parents aren’t planning on funding for me and i suck at saving. Italy would be THE best place for me to take it to because 1) i have never been there before. The only time i see anything or anywhere in Italy, is in picture from magazines or online. I wanna be there to see it with my own eyes. 2) because i would like to make use of my photography class im learning now in uni to produce some of the best shots i can take (none of which are the typical tourist shots-as how my teacher would put it) but to actually produce professional shots i could show my friends back home.
what would i take? SIMPLE- the scenery which include the architecture (sorry, im an arts student, so things like that actually do amazes me), the people, the fashion and food and not to mention cute guys i could tease my friends back home about :D
but no, i’d really make the use of it by taking shots with my sister at some of the best places there are in Italy. Not seeing her for 6 months, when this year was probably the first time i manage to reunite with her here in aus after not seeing her for 3 years when she was studying here and i was back in my hometown is a little heart breaking for me and i’d like to have so photographic memories with her before she leaves me again.

  34. Janice :

The Panasonic Lumix G2 is the perfect camera for a blogger like me. I don’t want to spend time learning all about “how to work the functions of an SLR” but I would love the fantastic quality of SLR photography.
This camera is essentially a Point & Shoot with the amazing automatic features and compact size. It will make me look like a fantastic photographer and I could also learn a lot more about photography with these automatic functions.

I cannot wait to get my hands on this camera and would love to capture all the special moments in high quality photography.

  35. Family Fun Sydney :

Q: How would the Panasonic Lumix G2 make me a better photographer?

A: I take a lot of scenic photographs for my blog Family Fun in Sydney with my phone camera. As you can imagine, the camera features are limited and the quality of the photos taken is not as great as I would like it to be for my blog readers. The Panasonic Lumix G2 would be fantastic as it is easy to use for an amateur photographer like me and yet gives me the opportunity to use a range of more sophisticated photographing features as I increase my skills. :)

  36. Ingrid :

I love taking pictures on my little old point and shoot and have been dreaming of taking the step up to a better camera. But sadly I am a bit technophobic and DSLR’s scare me just a tiny bit. I think the Panasonic Lumix G2 may be just the camera I need to help me become a better photoghrapher. It sounds like this camera would gently hold my hand and show me the way rather than scaring the daylights out of me.

  37. Timothy :

The G2 would make me a bettr photographer – I will be able to see pictures. Our Back panel on our camera has died and we are currently using the eye view finder for EXERYTHING – the kids would love to see phots – but it is too hard to show them. Winning this would be fantastic.

  38. Claire White :

How will the Panasonic Lumix G2 make you a better photographer?

Well I suppose I would be like the photographer in the Lumix G tv ad. The camera does all the professional work for him. Just point and click. It would be very handy for taking pictures of my life and creations and sharing them in a blog. Can I twist your arm by saying I will create a blog for the Lumix G2 if I win? :-)

  39. Jan :

I believe I would be a better photographer than i am now with the features on the Lumix G2. I’ve had a point and shoot for years but am planning on moving past that. It seems the Lumix G2 would be an ideal in-between step for me.

  40. Fiona :

Panasonic Lumix TZ10: Where in the world would you take the Panasonic Lumix TZ10 and what photo would you take?

I would take it to Japan to photograph all the hello kitty mech and the cherry blossoms!

  41. Elin :

The Lumix G2 will come in really handy to share beautiful sights around Sydney with my family who live overseas. An almost novice with cameras, the G2 will not only help do justice to the subject being photographed but also make me look like a pro!

  42. Joey :

How would the Panasonic Lumix G2 make me a better photographer?

I agree with most of the comments made on the intimadation of a DSLR and how the Panasonic Lumix G2 is perfect for a newbie’s crossover from a Point-and-Shoot and SLR camera. All the quality results without the fuss.

An enthusiatic photographer needs a good camera.
A good camera produces good quality pictures.
And good quality pictures makes the enthusiast a better photographer.

My blog posts started with photos taken from a 2 megapixel mobile camera to a 5 megapixel mobile camera to a 10megapixel digital point and shoot and i believe its time to take the next step.

I want to be that better photographer with the Panasonic Lumix G2 without having to always go through the step of PHOTOSHOPING all the photos i pusblish in my blog.

  44. Maria O'Sullivan :

The Panasonic Lumix G2 will make me a much better photographer for my blog. Because my blog is about fashion I would love to have a camera that was halfway between a Point-and-Shoot and SLR, so the Lumix G2 would be perfect. The compact size of the the Lumix G2 means I can take it with me op-shopping, to fashion shows and out on the town without having to lug around a big, unwieldy SLR. Big cameras are so last season!

  45. Li Li Froidevaux :

I am hopeless in any technical gadgets and the Panasonic Lumix TZ10 camera sounds very user friendly for people like me who wouldn’t need to think what button to press next to get the best pictures. Leaving for Scandinavia, Russia, Prague, Switzerland, France and Singapore on the 7th of September and it will be so wonderful to be able to win this camera and finally get some great pictures. The picture I’m most looking forward in taking is St. Basil’s Cathedral in Red Square in Moscow.

  46. Lori @ RRSAHM :

The Lumix G2. How will it make me a better photographer? Hey, it might not. But I’ll enjoy it more.

  47. Melissy :

Q: How would the Panasonic Lumix G2 make me a better photographer?

A: It’s so portable!! So sleek and fashionable (unlike many of the other chunkier DSLRs available), I will never be ashamed of flashing it out and capturing all the good moments. And with that, my experience with photography on the G2 will definitely be very enjoyable~ More experience is the first step of improving and being a better photographer~ XD The swivel mount screen feature is FAB! With that, I can have the best of both worlds – being the photographer and being photographed!!! While I’m figuring out how to master the “Manual” mode, the intelligent Auto would be a very good basic for me. So now I can work at my own pace figuring out shutter speed, aperture, exposure (oh confusing terms) while taking great photos using Auto mode!

I have no doubt that the Panasonic Lumix G2 will make me a better photographer! ;)

at the moment, my point and shoot decided to die on me and I am looking for a good beginner camera on SLR…

I love taking photos and would love to have this Panasonic Lumix G2 to be my best friend accompanying me through the photo chapters of my life…

  50. AdelineEr :

Q1. Panasonic Lumix G2: How will the Panasonic Lumix G2 make you a better photographer?

Lumix G2 is like a compact SLR. With its automatic light, shutter speed, automatic Peripheral Defocus Mode function, I am able to get photos that are as great as SLR without having to be equipped with much knowledge about the camera – which is perfect for a noob like me, who’s just starting to learn more about different manual functions. I have recently developed interest in taking good quality photos, instead of snap, shot, upload, owning the Panasonic Lumix G2 will definitely be the stepping stone for me to use an actual SLR with all the manual settings at a later time.

  51. Danielle :

    1) Panasonic Lumix G2: How will the Panasonic Lumix G2 make you a better photographer? I would be a better photographer because I would take more photos! The images produced using this camera (as seen on Retro Mummy’s blog) are great… Thanks!

  52. Shelley :

How would the G Series camera make you a better photographer?

    Are you serious?
HD video, neat size, intelligent auto too?
    Interchangeable lenses, touch screen
Is there anything it doesn’t do?

    Photography is my passion,
but too many of my snaps are a flop,
the G series sounds so simple to use
it’s sure to make my photos pop!

  53. Jigi :

Panasonic Lumix G2: How will the Panasonic Lumix G2 make you a better photographer?

As you can see, I never blog without pictures, its like talking about something exciting without describing what made it so amazing. This camera will definitely capture photos of our growing kids heaps better with all the crisp details shown, the photos of our vacations and various trips more enjoyable to look back, the foods that I blog, so much more appetizing and yummylicious … who would turn down such a wonderful experience where all nice and exciting memories are captured … years on as you look back, photos captured by Panasonic Lumix G2 will still embibe the same fun, vibrant and exciting emotions.

  54. Larah Kennedy :

The Panasonic Lumix G2 would make me a better photographer because I am still a beginner and sometimes I spend so much time fiddling with the settings on my camera that I miss the shot I was trying to capture. The Lumix G2’s easy touch screen and auto features would mean I could still get DSLR quality pictures without spending precious time trying to adjust the settings.

  55. Thanh :

Panasonic Lumix G2: How will the Panasonic Lumix G2 make you a better photographer?

The G2 will make me a better photographer because it will correct all my bad photography skills such as shaky hands and wrong settings. Unfortunately, the camera won’t be able to remind me to take a photo of the food before I start eating it, or can it?

  56. Jason :

Panasonic Lumix G2: How will the Panasonic Lumix G2 make you a better photographer? Instead of a better photographer, we can combine to make a “better camera”. The features of this baby is too neat to describe in detail…

  57. Anita :

Panasonic Lumix TZ10: Where in the world would you take the Panasonic Lumix TZ10 and what photo would you take?
I’m actually going on a school program to France this year :) It’s going to be my first time there and the pictures I could take of the Louvre, the Champs-Elysees from the top of the Arc de Triomphe, all of Paris while climbing the Eiffel tower, oh and Monet’s garden! Can you imagine using this camera in Monet’s garden? You’d never be able to stop! Not just the big attractions, but I want to take pictures of everything, bookstores I visit, places I eat, parks I sit in, and absolutely everywhere I go because you can be sure as hell that I’m going to go back there from time to time and when I have kids that go to France, I’ll have a kick arse journal full of photos and writing to pass down to them.

  59. Megan Aney :

Panasonic Lumix TZ10: Where in the world would you take the Panasonic Lumix TZ10 and what photo would you take?
I would take the Panasonic Lumix TZ10 over to Pakistan to be able to photograph the devastation after the floods and to take it home to Australia to help people understand what needs to be done on our part to rebuild a country.

  60. Sondra Hamill :

… OMG! Today i printed out over 100 photos of family, friends, dogs, cats and much more. The quality was terrible, my husband says its the photographer….i’m convinced its the camera! Why is it that when i take photos of my husband swimming, running, riding … he is never in them?

As i tell him its the camera! A Panasonic Lumix G2 would be the difference. 100’s of better photos, and some even with him in them!

  61. Tenille :

If I was to win the Lumix DMC-TZ10, I would take it home with me. Then I might take it with me while I take my daughter for a walk to our local park. Then I’d take it with my while I weed our veggie patch, or explore our local markets. One day, I’d take it with me to celebrate a special occasion; the commemoration of a birthday, or the welcoming of a new life into the world. I would take lots and lots of photo’s along the way, and post them to my blog. Then my bloggy friends can help me celebrate the simple joys in life. Cause I’m a blogger, and that’s what I do.

  62. Julie Botham-Clarke :

How can the Lumix G2 make me a better photographer?
    How could it not
With all the great features the Lumix G2 has got
It has a Micro Four Thirds system, it’s perfect in low light
Creating a sun-shiny day of any dim lit night
For those with experience; it’s a camera worth their while
It has easy manual freedom that would make an artist smile
And with the Intelligent Automatic mode, great shots are a shoo-in
Making an amateur like me seem to know what they were doing
There are preset modes for sport and stills, a defocus mode sublime,
Settings that ensure perfect photos every time
A comfortable view finder and LCD brings things to life
And the weight is of no consequence; even for a wife
So if you want a camera, (as I do) that’s full of tricks
I’ll say life surly looks better through a Panasonic G2 Lumix

  63. Cindy :

If I won the Lumix TZ10, I’d take it back to my hometown and get busy recording all my old friends and their cute kids. I don’t get to see them often enough and those little tackers grow up so fast! The camera’s compact size and hand-shake correction sound perfect for the job.

  64. Maraea :

I’m a technophobe to the enth degree. The only reason I have had mobile phones is when they have been given to me. I stil take photos with a manual camera and then the camera film rolls around in the car forever. Since digital cameras became popular I have never taken photos apart from a manual camera – a voigt I picked up in Madrid when I lost my one in Gibralter, takes great photos. I would LOVE to win the Panasonic Lumix G2, all those settings- the video ability. No more would I be the shameless carting a million bags around woman but a sophisticate with a camera that does everything but drive itself to beautiful locations which is exactly where I would be taking it and in the process becoming unleashing the photographer within

  65. Shelley Nelson :

oooooiiiiii, I want one! A Panasonic Lumix G2 that is. My current camera took a nose dive of my entertainment unit and is no longer with us :( Being photographically illiterate I need a point and shoot camera that takes awesome photos…Hello Panasonic Lumix G2! If I don’t win this one, I may just go out and buy one!

  66. Alex :

Panasonic Lumix TZ10: Where in the world would you take the Panasonic Lumix TZ10 and what photo would you take?

With such a powerful zoom in a small and compact camera, the TZ10 will my best companion when I visit Magnetic Island this coming October long weekend. I am sure it will come in handy for all the landscape shots. With the built-in GPS, hopefully it will help me to keep track of all the locations while I trek around the island. Two weeks after that, the wide angle lens will come into good use while I try to capture shots of vehicles in tight spaces during the Australian International Motor Show in Sydney. And with a dedicated Food scene mode, my gastronomic experiences in Fiji can be easily recorded crisp and clear, during my trip in December. :)

  67. Carol Taylor :

My camera was stolen,so I haven’t been able to take photos of my family and friends for 12 months. The G2 looks really easy to use which is what I need. It has lots of great features and takes exceptional photographs.

  68. Lisa Quarterman :

How would a Panasonic Lumix G2 help me to be a better photographer? Well it is aimed at people just like me – budding photographers who are little bit unsure when it comes to using digital cameras. The fabulous features can’t help but improve my photo taking and with an amazing camera like this, I would certainly be motivated to make sure that I put it to good use. With three small children always on the go, I would have a much better chance at actually capturing the moment, rather than a million photos of legs disappearing from the shot!

  69. Farah :

I would love to own the Panasonic Lumix G2 simply because it’s a lifetime machine that will carries my bub’s memories. It is cute like a baby. It has mind of its own like a baby. It surprise you like a baby. It does wonder like a baby. It’s fragile yet very tough like a baby. It doesn’t need to be feed with milk like a baby. It doesn’t cries like a baby. It doesn’t need wean off like a baby. But most importantly, it needs tender loving care like a baby.

  70. Grace Koay :

A picture paints a thousand words, and I believe in this day and age, a great camera is essential for any one person: a blogger, a mom, a very busy mom and aspiring blogger. I live in the moment, and with my three beautiful children, every moment with them is precious. And if I could capture these moments, they would tell my story.

The Panasonic Lumix G2 would make me a better photographer as it would allow me to take brilliant quality pictures of my loved ones, being so portable it would go places with us: a childhood and lifetime journey. The intelligent auto will be my friend, my guide to exquisite professional looking pictures. And with the HD video function, we could be superstars and I could be supermom and not miss the important milestones, the rollover, the first steps, the cheeky grin, the first day of school etc.

I would love to be able to tell our story, with the Panasonic Lumix G2!

Thank you Nuffnang for the opportunity.

  71. Posie Patchwork :

How will the Panasonic Lumix G2 make you a better photographer?

To answer this question, I will ask you a question back=) How does Leonardo da Vinci paint his masterpieces?

Answer: Of course with his favourite brushes and top quality paints.

Having said that, I will return to the competition question, “How will the Panasonic Lumix G2 make me a better photographer?

Answer: Panasonic Lumix G2 will be my favourite brush and paint that will give me fantastic quality pictures (ahem! masterpieces) for my food blog (Busog! Sarap!). It will be an extension of my eyes to catch much finer details and colour that I want to capture in my shots.

I am a hands on person and the Panosonic Lumix G2 will give me more room to grow from my old 8 megapixels point and shoot. Writing is not my biggest prowess, my cooking is my greatest love (am obsess with it, it hurts;P) and capturing it with a beautiful camera would be an improvement. And with the HD video feature, I might go to the next level and feature step by step cooking videos on Busog! Sarap! Because it is between a point & shoot and SLR, it will be a perfect match to a un-tech savvy like me=)

  73. cusinera :

ps. see the evidence of my writing is not my biggest prowess…I’ve misspelled “Panasonic” with Panosonic :P So EMBARASSING!!! LOL…

  74. danielle :

I would love the Panasonic Lumix G2: How will the Panasonic Lumix G2 make you a better photographer?

It is a great, easy to use camera that will give me quality photos. I have taken so many photos but they never turn out right, so I haven’t been able to use them. So many times I have the intention to write a blog about a beauty feature/tutorial but I cant because I dont have a good camera to take good photos.
The Panasonic Lumix G2 will help me be a better photographer because it will give me good quality pictures that I can use and be proud of especially with the auto function it has – nothing will be missed when taking a photo. I also make videos for my YT channel so the HD video function, will definitely come in handy to tape good quality videos too.
I want a simple, easy to use, great features and good quality camera and the Panasonic Lumix G2 is just that.

  76. Susan Nightingale :

The Lumix G2 would make me a better photographer because of its awesome, easy to use features, manageable size and true SLR results. Thank you Panasonic for creating a camera which shouts ‘no compromise’ for holiday snaps, important family memories and professional looking photos of beautiful things.

  77. Maree :

Where would I take the Panasonic TZ10? Camping down south! Here in Australia there are some amazing places down south that we have visited, and my photo memories dont do justice to the beauty of the places. I would take the camera back to some holiday spots that we loved, and take photos we can look at and feel like were there, not just remember when we were.

  78. Ling Tung :

Panasonic Lumix G2: How will the Panasonic Lumix G2 make you a better photographer?

Hello? Have you seen the machine and its awesome functions??!!! The question is – how can anyone not be a better photographer with the Panasonic Lumix G2?!

  79. Claire :

Wow! What a camera! Just what I need, something idiot proof that will make my happy snaps into something fit for a magazine! I’ll be taking this EVERYWHERE… not as bit as other cameras, it will fit right into my purse :)

  80. Monika Page :

This is a travel camera and before this year, my answer would have been something like ‘I would take the Panasonic camera to Europe and take pictures of Swiss Alps, The French Eiffel Tower, The Greek Isles and Italian men (!).
Now I know where the best place to travel to in the world is. My baby’s nursery. I would take the Panasonic camera into his room to capture that feeling I get every time he opens his eyes from a nap and sees his mum. That immense joy and sheer delight of seeing his Mummy. I know that won’t last forever and soon he’ll be embarrassed to even hug me. I would love to capture this precious moment in time but I need something that is easy to use because those moments are so quick that I don’t have time (or skill!) to use a proper camera and play around with settings.
We also travel a lot and it means the pics are always a mess. Yes, i have become one of those mothers that takes 50 photos a day of her son and then brings them out at parties (i vowed NOT to be that woman ever). So the GPS function would be brilliant for sorting the pictures out and having a record of our son’s first year of life.

  81. Nadine :

I’ve shyed away from cameras due to my weight for so long – as the subject of one, I was too self-conscious. And as the user of one, I didn’t think my life was that interesting to document. Now I’ve lost some weight I’m gaining a new outlook I never had – I’ve always wanted to start a fashion blog but was too embarrassed to post photos of myself. Being more confident now, I can’t wait to start! The Panasonic Lumix G2 would be the perfect tool for me to take my outfit shots as my apartment is dimly lit, and from what I’ve heard this baby performs great in low light.

I’m also putting myself out there more and realising how fun and interesting life can be when I change my perspective! There’s so much beauty and excitement to be had in this city (Sydney) and I really should capture myself living it up in it. Even with my limited photography skills, the Panasonic Lumix G2 is sure to do it justice. It will help me become a better photographer because I’ll love what it (and I!) create, and I’ll want to do it all over again!

As a bonus, now that I’m not so camera shy, I’m also really excited about the flip screen on it which will allow me to take pictures with myself in them!

  82. Ann :

Panasonic Lumix G2 would be ideal for me as blogger, mother and tourist in my new country – New Zealand just begs to be photographed and photographed well!!

  83. Naomi Ellis :

How will the Panasonic Lumix G2 make you a better photographer? I can use all the features and functions to capture the faces, the emotions, the priceless images of my seven cherubs and have a record of them that I can treasure for always.

  84. Olivier :

Panasonic Lumix G2: How will the Panasonic Lumix G2 make you a better photographer?

What’s not to love about the Lumix G2? I’m truly impressed. A camera that gives you SLR quality in a simple to use format, with fantastic features in the intelligent auto and touch screen. A wonderful step-up from a point and shoot, it’s just what I need!

  85. Angela :

    2) I would take the Panasonic Lumix TZ10 to Africa as I am taking my mum there this month for her 60th birthday. The photo I would take would be a photo of my mum game viewing and bird watching while she nervously canoes down the Zambezi River as she can’t swim and is quite terrified that I have signed her up to do this with me. Priceless once in a lifetime photo opportunity!

  86. Karen :

The Panasonic Lumix G2 would make me a better photographer as the features it has mean that I will be able to take better pictures using the camera functions – rather than relying on skill or knowledge I don’t yet have.
I have three small children so need to be able to set the camera up on the run to take good pics – and I think it sounds like I will be able to do it with this camera.
It sounds like just what I need to look like a photography pro when really I’m very definitely not!

  87. Lorraine :

    1) The Panasonic Lumix G2 will make me a better photographer through its user friendliness. This will enable me to view and appreciate the world in a totally different way through being able to use the extensive functions the camera possesses, particularly its ability to be used in a wide range of settings from low lighting to fine detail to scenic photography.

  88. Bee :

The photographs I most desire to take are the ones that tell a story of the simplest things in life in the most sincere and truthful manner possible. The Panasonic Lumix G2 will the perfect companion to my journey in seeking out and recording the simple moments, particularly with its ability to be
used in a wide range of settings and in helping me bring out the colours and truthfulness of life.

  89. Cindy :

The Lumix G2 sounds too good to be true! I would love being able to have this camera readily available in my handbag and still be able to use features that I love on my big and cumbersome SLR. I think I would be guaranteed to be a better and more frequent photographer if I could use a quality camera like this.

Retromummy wrote a great review. Thanks for the opportunity to enter the competition.
